Oh, I love being able to queue songs to make an "on the go" playlist. I think Viper4Android hasn't existed yet at that point so I used Poweramp a lot. Back then I was using a shitty IEM and I need to crank up the bass. I know where they at, so I can play anything I want to play remembering from their locations.Īlso back then I liked their tone knob a lot, I think it's like a dynamic EQ to improve the lower frequencies (bass) and higher frequencies (treble) and it surprisingly works better than the Equalizer. And I don't have to scroll through artists to find that one album/song/whatever as I often copy only one or two songs per artists instead of albums due to space constraints. This way I don't have my compilation albums split into many artists tags. I really like how Poweramp can manage music per folders. There wasn't many good music player apps back then (people loved PlayerPro for some reason, but I just don't like it and stuck with stock)

Yeah back in 2012 I tried this app, and was fascinated by its features. The main reason is it can manage music by folders instead of tags. Post not showing up? Have a suggestion? Message the mods.
